Appointments
An appointment lasts 10 minutes. Book an appointment for each person to be seen. We aim to offer you an appointment with the first available doctor or nurse if you need to be seen within 48 hours.

Telephone Advice
It is not always necessary to have a face-to-face consultation. The doctor is available from 12.30 till 1.00pm for telephone advice, and after 6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions may be requested in person, in writing, by telephone, by fax
or online.

Travel Information

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

It is important to make this initial appointment with the nurse as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required  to actually receive the vaccinations.  These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.  Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Some travel vaccines are available on the NHS, but you will have to pay for Yellow Fever, Meningitis ACWY and Hepatits B.
